I am an Associate Professor at Janusz Gil Institute of Astronomy of the University of Zielona Góra in Poland. Before coming to Zielona Góra, I had been a research scientist at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, MD (USA).

I am a theoretical astrophysicist. Most of my research is on physics of compact objects and high energy astrophysical phenomena. I use both numerical and analytical methods in my research but especially enjoy developing new numerical techniques for solving complex astrophysical problems.
